Hey everyone, I’m Almendra Melendez, a New Mexico photographer based in my hometown of Deming and serving the neighboring cities. Over the last couple of  years, I have seen the beautiful stages of life  unraveling one by one. I have also witnessed how we as humans go through so many deserts in life. But even in the driest deserts of life, God will help us bloom, just as Isaiah 35:1 states, “The wilderness and the dry land will be glad. The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.” Floreciendo in the Desert isn’t just a name or an idea that came to mind, it’s a place of growth, a place of opportunity, a place of contemplating the beauty of life, it’s a place where many milestones are made. Growing up I had many dreams and one of those dreams was to run my own business someday. Now, at age 26 I can see how that dream truly became a reality.
